Regional Member Care Coordinator

We are looking for an individual or couple who can serve as our regional member care representative for South Asia (specific countries can be shared privately). A Regional Member Care Coordinator (RMCC) with TEAM gives oversight to the spiritual, emotional, and relational care needed for each worker in their region and their families to thrive.

This couple/individual can quickly build trust with others, can lovingly address challenging things, is comfortable with international travel, and is able to bring encouragement and godly insight into many situations.

The RMCC position varies slightly with individual gifting, experience, and interest but key components include:

  • Periodic check-ins with each global worker
  • Assessment and follow-up for those who may be experiencing challenges
  • An annual face-to-face with each worker
  • Home assignment debriefings
  • Work with field leadership to develop resources aimed at increasing personal wholeness and resilience, and, occasionally, crisis response.

RMCCs sometimes provide direct care and sometimes engage with other resources to provide for what is needed. The Member Care team works collaboratively but each RMCC carries responsibilities as the primary member care point person for their specific region. This position requires raising of funds to cover living expenses. Currently, TEAM covers the costs of Member Care-related travel expenses.

Why do I need a missions organization?

As a missions organization, TEAM will train and equip you as a global worker (missionary) to serve. We also support you and your family each step of the way, and provide an infrastructure that will maximize your effectiveness in missions and your partnership with local, indigenous churches.

What does training look like?

Our goal is to help you become the cross-cultural worker God made you to be. But every mission field, ministry, team, and life stage comes with unique challenges. That’s why our Learning and Development and Member Care teams work with you to create a training plan to prepare you for missions, and to continue to support you throughout your service and beyond. From the day you become a member of the TEAM community, we’re here to walk alongside you.

What do finances look like?

Depending on your length of service, ministry role, and geographic factors, the financial aspects of missions work can vary greatly. In all cases, TEAM provides financial guidance, as well as helpful tools, resources, and training for support raising.

What is the first step?

Whether you are just beginning to feel a call to something bigger than yourself, or you’ve had a destination and ministry in mind for years, the best first step is to connect with a missions coach to start the conversation. There is no pressure, no obligation, no defined timeline, and no need to have it “all figured out.”
