If someone in your church may be sensing a call to missions or ministry, the next faithful step is not certainty, it is movement. Help them start walking with Him in that direction, whether they (or you) feel ready or not.
TEAM is committed to helping churches and those exploring missions discern their readiness to serve on the mission field. That’s why we created The Balancing Act.
For those considering missions, discernment can feel like a conundrum. Questions naturally arise:
- Will I ever be ready?
- What does “ready” even mean?
- Am I being faithful—or foolish—in considering going now?
Formation for ministry is a balancing act. It means holding two tensions together: having the courage to step into the unknown while humbly recognizing our limitations and our ongoing need for growth and formation.
